I first visited Deauville Farm in April 2007. When I returned six years later, the fallow deer had gone to other pastures, but the farm retains its fascinating charm. I had never known before that each different breed of chicken produces eggs of a particular color, including brown, white, fawn, pink, blue-even speckled (which, admittedly, is not a color). |
