You may change the format of the image, but don't change its visual content. Don't crop or distort the image without obtaining specific permission to do so. Most especially, do not mess with the watermark. For any images sold, the watermark will be very inconspicuous. Include proper attribution, and don't make any digital file larger than a thumbnail available for others to reproduce, include our copyright information, which will be included with each downloaded file. You may re-distribute the image, make prints for yourself and friends, include it in compilations, use it on your non-commercial web site. F C Frieseke works of art are no longer copyrighted. However, I or my brother Martin Kilmer photographed the Frieseke images on this sight, and I put considerable time and talent into retouching them so that they appear as close to the originals as is possible on the Internet. Asking permission to republish them is appreciated, as are donations to make my work on the site possible.
