| Tim and I had stopped to look at a Civil War monument on Rte. 11. A herd of cattle grazed in the field just over the fence. I hadn't known that cows could be so affectionate towards each other! These two nuzzled each other tenderly. I'm told the tags in their ears mean that they were destined for market. I'm cutting way back on my meat intake. This was a very memorable occasion, as the photographer (yours truly) leaned in for a closer view and got zapped by an electric fence - not for the first time! |
