3. About a month before my youngest brother passed away, I took his grandson to visit him and his wife on their farm in Mayland. The top image of the fence and the lower right image of the little boy's hand are from that last visit. I chose the picture of the seed-case from Chalet High to echo the rust hues of the Mayland images and to complement their softer grey tones. The strong vertical, diagonal, and nearly horizontal lines of the three images combine to form a striking composition.
