57c) The dying embers of day glow fiercely behind a tangled forest. I was on my way home from photographing TAGG artwork in the Bowman-Shannon House, March, 2013. The sunset was particularly splendid. We had reached Woodstock on Rte. 11, where we searched for a place to pull over so that I could photograph the glorious colors with an attractive foreground. We came upon Shenandoah County Park, where I took a series of soul-satisfying landscapes.
